How to Decorate Soccer Cookies

Posted by Anne Yorks on Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Our family spent the spring on the soccer field! And, our team enjoyed a winning season for the first time! To celebrate, I made some team cookies for the soccer banquet.

I always enjoy creating cookie 'characters', like this soccer player. My designs usually start with a sketch. This was my player cookie (that I created to look like my daughter). I traced the Sugarbelle girl cookie cutter (from the Shape Shifters Set) and color in the details.

Watch and learn how to use team colors to create a personalized cookie with lots of personality!

I used the Sugarbelle girl cutter from the Shape Shifters Set. Did you notice the tipless bags in the video? I used them when I was flooding. No tips = easy clean-up!

I have been using them since March and find they are great for easy clean up! You can check them out online - click here!  I still like the squeeze bottles for the big jobs (especially these new Sugarbelle wide-mouth bottles), but for small quick orders, the tipless bags are great!

Here's another version in green ...

This project features the soccer stencil available in our shop - click here!

I used the small soccer ball (from the stencil) on the L-O-V-E cookie and the large version on the ball with grass ... check it out!

Coming up in July, some super fun SUMMER cookie videos! Can't wait!!

Happy Decorating,

Anne
