Out with the Green, In with the Pink

Posted by Anne Yorks on Friday, March 18, 2011

I hope everyone had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day. Our family (including my mom) enjoyed a delicious dinner of Corned Beef and Cabbage and Mashies. Yum! We all wore green and ate until we popped a button - some of us quite literally! Our local public radio station, WPSU, played a wonderful assortment of Irish music: traditional, classical and folk! I loved it!

But enough of all that green. It's almost Spring and what we really need is MORE PINK! Yesterday my pink food coloring EXPLODED on my hands and I looked like Pinkalicious for a day. It wasn't so bad, and now I'm back to me today.

I needed all that pink to make these yummy Pink Party Dresses.

I made these dresses for a 5-year-old's birthday party. They were ordered by her Grandmother. So sweet!!

Each cookie was wrapped in a cellophane bag and finished with a pink satin ribbon - all ready for the party!

Speaking of parties...I'm headed to a dinner party tonight at a friend's - so this post is short and sweet. I have a lot of baking to do before it's time to go!

Have a sweet weekend!!
