There were a group of ladies that shared a passion for cookies. Not just any cookies. The most majestic of all cookies, the hand-iced sugar cookie. Each day, these cookie decorators found themselves drawn to their kitchens. Armed not with magic wands or mirrors, but rather with rolling pins and pastry bags. Tirelessly working away, these ladies thwarted the evils of humidity, icing consistency, craters, and tip clogs in order to produce small works of edible art. One day, this group of ladies put their sugary sweet minds together to create a master collection of cookies for a virtual baby shower - but with one little twist - all the cookie collections had to feature a classic fairy tale character. So, with flour, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, a pinch of salt, and a whole lot of love, the following cookies were created.
... And they decorated happily ever after!
[Twenty-two cookie decorators, located throughout the United States and one in Korea, contributed to the following cookie project. Each collection is introduced by the character represented and the cookie decorator. Additional details about the individual collections can be found on the each decorators' Facebook page or blog. You may also notice common paper tags, toppers, and accents throughout the photos (and on the blog) - these designs were provided by One Sweet Party - thank you, Yadira!]
